The Smoke Daddy Rhythm and Blues opened in the summer of 1994. It was the first of its kind in Wicker Park offering Barbeque and free live music 7 days a week. Over the years, “The Daddy” has received accolades from nationally recognized newspapers and magazines for the food and music; the New York Times, National Geographic, Zagat survey, Chicago magazine, and the Chicago Social all rated "The Daddy" as one of the best places to visit.
