Mysteriam is a collective of artists from many disciplines who want to fill your life with delight, wonder and unpredictability. The group produces multimedia performances, albums of music, video for the internet, and consumer electronics.
The artists of this Chicago-based collaborative have thriving careers of their own in improvised and recorded music, theatre, modern dance, and graphic arts, and include graduates of Oberlin and Berklee College of Music.
The artists have joined forces under different guises since 2003 to create multimedia performances consisting of music, poetry, puppetry, sculpture, and photography; now, under the umbrella of Mysteriam, they have developed a presence on the Internet, and are engaged in performing and distributing their projects on a much larger scale.
Mysteriam's first release is ENTRYWAY, an album which, from conception to music to art design, was fueled by the talents of five of its members. As the group performs and tours, surreal video creations are being posted online and two more albums are awaiting release in 2007.
