Anybody who knows me knows that I, in all honesty, love every style of music. I am influenced by bits and pieces of many artists that I have grown up listening to over the course of my life. A handful of them include Rob Thomas (and Matchbox 20), John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rick James, Maxwell, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Simon and Garfunkel, The Moody Blues, Will Smith, James Brown, Metallica, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Who, Garth Brooks, and Michael Jackson.
However, I do have a favorite band, which is Matchbox 20. I just can’t get over Rob Thomas’s writing, it’s really good. You should listen to it…seriously.
