From the mountains of Colorado, now residing in downtown Chicago, Jessica's voice is sultry soulful extacy. Her music will take your mind captive with a unique sound you've never heard before.
"It's all worth it for me when people take something away from what they hear in my music" replied artist Jessica Sonner in a recent interview. Originally from the mountains of Colorado, currently based in the big city of Chicago, IL, Jessica has established herself as a staple up and coming singer/songwriter. Jessica was recently named Madison County's best up and coming vocalist for 2005 in Indiana, where she spent time studying with other songwriters after college. Her down to earth approachability and heart-warming songs are quickly catching the hearts of both fan and industry alike. Jessica recently completed a strong demo just before a career threatening snow-baording accident in December 2004. The self-titled EP features fan favorites including "Rescue Me", "Fool", and "Open Your Eyes".
Barista by day, musician by night, Jessica has been singing her heart out all over the country for the past three years, wooing audiences with her compelling lyrics, and soulful vocals. But her experience has not been limited to simply performance. Jessica also assisted in the foundation of what is how Oranghaus Records and continues to remain an independant musician herself.
