Really, the idea is for everyone involved in the Chicago music scene to come together under one website. We have everything from complete listings of Chicago based venues, labels, and stores, to easy to read comparison charts about what recording studio in the area would best fit your band’s needs when it’s time to cut your album. Done with your C.D and want to move into the final production phase of, replication, C.D art and packaging, CDM has you covered with listings and price compressions of a places you can get this done. When you’re done with that you can sell your album with us online or look at a comprehensive listings\ of other places to sell it online. If you’re finished with all of that and want to make merch, CDM can provide you with the most cost effective deal around to make T-shirts, hoodies, pins, stickers etc. More importantly, you will be able to scope out where and when you could play your next show and how to contact the venue. Chicago Digital Music is focused on providing bands with the most up-to-date information about venues in Chicago and we do this by creating relationships with these venues. If you already have a show coming up, no problem. Submit as many shows as you would like and know that these listings are going to be seen by a local audience. The local audience is really the key factor. If a person comes across your band page and likes your music you have now gained a potential fan at your show because that person lives in the area and could easily attend that show. | Downtime and Server Speed: The parties agree and acknowledge that internet servers and links are susceptible to crashes and downtime. CDM agrees that it will maintain a dedicated and consistent link with the Internet, but CDM cannot and does not guarantee that it will maintain a continuous and uninterrupted link. CDM does not warrant any response rate or download time. Storage: CDM shall host Customer’s Web Site on both it’s own server and on a leased space from a reputable hosting service (Yahoo). In the event of extended service outage due to a server crash, CDM will use reasonable efforts to restore service. CDM reserves the right to move the Customer’s website to another server or hosting service in order to maintain, improve or enhance service. Maintenance: CDM may, at its sole discretion, temporarily suspend any or all service for the purpose of repair, maintenance, or improvement of any of CDM’s systems or the website itself. However, CDM will restore services as soon as is reasonably practicable. Customer will not be entitled to any setoff, discount, refund or other credit, in case of any service outage which is beyond CDM’s control, or which is deemed necessary for maintenance, or which is reasonable in duration. Security: The parties agree and acknowledge that it is impossible to maintain complete security, but CDM will take reasonable steps to prevent security breaches in CDM’s servers. Pricing: The current CDM Pricing Sheet is attached and made a part hereof; and Customer agrees to pay as provided therein. Prices are subject to change without notice, and price changes will be posted at http://www.chicagodigital.com/music/notices/prices.htm. Page Content: Customer agrees to comply fully with the CDM policies, including said policies as may be amended. Artists are required to provide CDM with a notice if their music requires a page disclaimer. Failure to do so may result in immediate termination of said page. Material protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right may not be used without proper authorization. Expressions of obscenity, defamation, bigotry, prejudice, racism and hatred are not acceptable. Pornography and sex-related merchandising are prohibited. Links to websites that may infer sexual content, or link to adult content elsewhere are prohibited. Statements promoting illegal activities, or harm to any individual or group of individuals is not acceptable. Posting scandalous or private information about a person without their consent or intentionally inflicting emotional distress is unacceptable. Artists and show pages will not be customized with banner ads, or links to affiliate programs and other websites not operated by the artist. CDM may change, suspend or terminate the Web Site, if CDM, in its sole discretion, determines that the Web Site or its links do not comply with the aforesaid CDM policies. Email: Our servers may not be the source, intermediary, or destination address involved in the transmission of spam, flames, or mail bombs. We consider spam any mass unsolicited message in the mediums of Newsgroups and Email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service to known spammers. Lastly, we reserve the right to determine what violates this policy. Any violation will result in immediate deactivation of services without refund. Server Any attempts to cause harm to our server is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service at our sole discretion. Changes in Agreement: CDM may modify this Agreement, including, without limitation, changes in the page content policies, fees and prices charged [except that fees and prices charged shall not be subject to change until the end of the then current term], or change the services offered.
