Since opening in the fall of 1998, Davenport's has attracted crowds and critical acclaim, thanks to its quality lineup of talent and intimate setting. It is part piano bar, part cabaret with an atmosphere that is decidedly warm and laid-back -- soft wood panels, delicate lighting, and blue velvet curtains line the walls -- that is also quite modern. No posing as Sinatra in here! The crowd is a nice mixture of both young and old who appreciate good music, good drinks, and good conversation.
