Mike Dangeroux began playing music at the age of 3. Starting with drums and piano, he switched to guitar at the age of 8. He is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music (1986). A guitar virtuoso who’s more than comfortable in all genres of music from Blues,Jazz,Rock,Reggae,Latin,Classical,& Hip Hop.Founder of Raw Dawg Records. A multi-instrumentalist of over 30 instruments.a gifted composer,lyricist,and arranger of over 3000 recorded songs…International Recording Artist Mike Dangeroux (pronounced Dangerous). His bands blend reggae, rock and blues and have been electrifying audiences all around the world. They have performed for The Mayor's Office of Special Events,The American Cancer Society,The Museum of Science & Industry,The Chicago Historical Society,Urban Gateways (Center for Arts Education), The Union League, The Urban League and many more. We have shared the stage with The Commodores, The Wailers, Nancy Wilson,Johnny Frigo, Tom Jones, Lucky Boys Confusion, Koko Taylor,Slighty Stoopid, Buddy Miles and The Dixie Chicks, to name a few. Some of the local venues we've played are The Peninusula Hotel, The Chicago Historical Society, The Botanical Gardens, The Museum of Science & Industry, The Taste of Chicago, Soldiers Field, Navy Pier and we have been on Fox TV, WGN, PBS.We have performed in Canada,Holland,France,Belguim,Jamaica,Puerto Rico,NY,KY,MA,MI,WI,LA,IN,IA,OK,NM,TX,CO,& IL.
